A Cataclysm Division officer from the United States, seeking to escape from the pain of his past, by accepting a position as the CD�s Special Operations Unit�s commanding officer under Inspector Masamichi Sonoda. What Kane instead finds is a world that would force him to come to terms with his past, a villain (Niho) who would push him in every way to his limit, and a beautiful young woman named Sarah Shimizu who would be not only turn his life around, but quite literally wind up saving him in the process.

This is the Mt:tC story of Commander Anthony Kane. In an attempt to restart his life, Anthony left New York to accept a position as the commanding officer of the Tokyo Police Cataclysm Division: Special Operations Unit. Despite this change Anthony is still tormented by the ghosts of his past. He meets a beautiful young Asian girl named Sarah Shimizu who works for the FGTL and begins to fall for someone for the first time since the 9/11 disaster stole his fianc�e Helen from him over two years ago. In the background a dark Necromancer, Niho plots to destroy Anthony, because the Commander had foiled his evil plans and destroyed the dark spire. Yet what Niho fails to realize is that despite all his dark destructive power, other forces are at work in the city of Tokyo, and as he and Anthony clash, Sarah Shimizu finds the strength within herself, with a little help from the ghost of Anthony�s dead girlfriend Helen, to confront the darkness and ultimately destroy it.

Special Abilities:

Thanks to Dr. Eric Emerson�s Genetic Re-sequencing process that saved his life Anthony possess superhuman strength and reflexes, rapid healing/regenerative abilities, and completely and total immunity to pain. In addition to this he is a high trained Special Operations operative with a degree in chemical engineering, (explosives), and is a melee combat specialist with his progressive blade bastard sword.

Sword Fight much:

Anthony is an expert fighter with his bastard sword, which he can use with deadly efficiency. Having practiced sword fighting since an early age, it is almost to the point of being a natural extension of his body. The sword itself is of special design, as it has a progressive vibrating edge that can sheer through almost anything. When hand grenades and his trusty shotgun fail to get the job done, Anthony is more than willing to charge in and start hacking away with his sword.

Cataclysm Division Officer:

Having been a part of the Cataclysm Division for nearly 6 years now, Anthony has made numerous contacts and friends. He is well respected even if seen as something of a loose cannon. He has worked for the New York City Cataclysm Division where he had made most of his earlier friends, before moving to Tokyo. If asked around the consensus is that while Anthony Kane may be reckless, he is still a decisive, fair, and good officer who seeks to not only enforce the but make sure that it is serving the people as well.

Character Interactions

• Sarah Shimizu - Romantic interest/girl friend. Currently living with her, and very much in love. Is aware of her magical girl abilities, but keeps them secret and to himself. Would do anything for her.

• Ashley Kane - Kid sister, loves her to death. Needs to stop being her big brother.

• Thomas Elison - Master Arch-mage/planes walker. Supreme spell-caster incarnate, and Anthony�s best friend. Goes to Thomas for advice and an objective opinion. These two have very much the �Fighter/mage� style friendship.

• Helen Keel - (deceased) Former Magical Girl and Anthony�s fianc�e. She died during the 9/11 attacks but still keeps watch over him and protects him from harm. She is currently instructing Sarah Shimizu on how to wield her newly discovered Magical Girl powers.

• Taichi Williams - Officer under Anthony�s command. Likes him both as a person and as a co-worker. Knows that he can trust Taichi to get the job done.

• Arsenal - Quote: �He�s like having an army on speed dial�

• Andrew Lazyass - Faction Leader, Sarah�s boss.

• Ravenskye - The honorable leader of the N1NJ4 faction. Has a great deal of personal respect for her.

• Sabin Figaro - �I�ve seen video tapes on what this mofo can do, and I�m staying clear.�

• Tak - It speaks in the third person, and the Kane is quite amused.

• Ash the Instigator - She has committed a crime, and some would say she needs to be brought to justice. But as I look closer and closer I find myself asking why? And weather her actions are truly of her own making for if some other force is at work here, and if that is the case, can I truly call her guilty?

• Niho - To be shot on sight.
