Charles Fox was head of research at Erika Multinational after Iain Caduceus stepped down. He was second in command before that. He retired after his author got tired of one too many authorspace blowups in 2005.

Apparent Personality
Fox is serious, often playing the straight man in interactions with other characters. He is selflessly devoted to his work, affable, and makes friends easily. Though he is flexible with his employees, he is also demanding.
Known In-game History
Fox was heavily involved in the Stick Wars, since Erika Multinational was a target of several Stick strikes. He mostly spent time running around, reacting to enemy activities, and working on his plasma shotgun and other hi-tech weaponry.
During Rise of the Dark Goddess, he ran several interviews for Erika Multinational employees, and also investigated the success and then tragic overloading of the game Princess Maker.

Fox is an unusually techinically gifted human. He has no abilities other than those granted by his own inventions.
Fox is creditted with inventing the plasma shotgun.
He tends to wield a force-shield gauntlet on one hand.
