General Information
Threads: Everything, but OLSaL, since CoM:New Blood 7 up until the beginning of the CT Arc and most of the New Confusion Threads. Returned in Off B33r and Ph34r.

Age: N/A, appears mid to late 20s
Race: Half-Vampire, descent of other worldly heritage.
Weapons
2 Colt M1911 .45 Caliber Hand Guns. Barrel modified to 140mm in length. Clip size increased to ten rounds. Modified to fire hollow point or explosive tipped rounds.
XM-26 LSS (Light Shotgun System). Manually operated, straight pull bolt action shotgun. Uses box magazines, 5 rounds.Modified to handle 2 3/4" Magnum FRAG 12 rounds. Primarily uses FRAG 12 High Explosive Armor Piercing rounds.
Heckler - Koch HK MP7A1 submachine gun. Extended 40 round mag. Removed shoulder stock. Uses 4.6x30mm HK round. All steel round with brass jacket.
Modified Recoiless Rife. Specs to be determined.
Jackhammer Automatic Shotgun - 10 rounds in removable revolver-type drum magazine, 12 gauge. Uses primarily custome loaded shells. Higher grain count, larger steel shot rounds.
Elemental Katana, Chrystalis. Magical blade forged from five swords. Haldarn (Fire), Haldine (Air), Arcol (Water), Arstith (Eletricity) and Chrystalis (Soul). Blade contain the soul of von Sudden's youngest daughter, Chrystalis. Currently hidden.
Straight Edged Katana. Hand made of 12x folded steel. Blade is five inches longer than a traditional full tang katana. There is a hidden, four inch blade in the handle that comes out when the handle is gripped in a certain way.
Abilities
Strengths:
*Immortality- DarkTan is a Damphir, a half-vampire. He is immortal and can heal from
nearly any wound, ever fatal ones.
*High tolerance for alcohol- Can drink enough to kill an elephant.
*High tolerance for pain- Isn't realy bothered by the little things, like wounds the size
of Seattle.
*Accelerated healing- Said wounds are gone in about an hour. Still winds up in the
hospital from time to time, some think he has a thing for nurses...
*Night vision/ dark vision- Capable of seeing in total darkness.
*Limited flight- Very limited, usually only goes a few feet before falling to the ground.
*Shadow-jumping- Learned while working for the United Sadisticks. It is unclear if
DarkTan still has this ability or not.
*Dual Nature- Both Vampiric and Human natures, normally at war with eachother, will join
forces if a common enemy is observed. Normally accompanied by a red aura, has been seen
as black since obtaining the Book of von Sudden, The Unspeakable Cooks.
Weaknesses:
*Immortality- His particular immortality will be ended in decapitation. Must be total
removal of the head.
*Author Thinks He's Funny- While DarkTan is usually fairly serious, his Author like to
put him in hilarious situations.
*Really Bad Cooking- His food is a menace. This puts him at odds with the
MegaTokyo Cataclysm Division and most of the citizen of MegaTokyo.
*Even Worse Driving Habits- See above.
Appearance
Six foot, one inch tall, has red eyes and blue hair that is a litte unkempy and looks a bit like Dante. Wears black cargo pants, this shirt and a black trench coat. He keeps the two Colts in holsters behind his back and the shot gun in a sheath inside the trench coat. The sword is usually held, but also has a metal loop on the inside coat to act as a sheath of sorts. Also a picture done by Lord V of what DT used to look like: Lord V's DarkTan
History
Last living heir to Astaroth von Sudden, born to the unholy marriage of a vampire and human woman. Upon finding his mother dead, but the hand of a vampire, he took an oath to kill every vampire he could find. The put him at odds with his girlfriend Mariko, who had become a vampire with out his knowledge. Believing he killed her in combat, he fled his homeland and hunted vampires where ever he found Them.
DarkTan eventually found himself living in MegaTokyo and was roped in to becoming Micro$oft's unwilling and ignorant assassin. He was sent in with a small yield nuclear device, disguised as a program that would safely end the "Apocalypse" program in Virtual Reality MegaTokyo, intended to kill Asimov, several powerful members of the Church of Miho, and both the found and new members of the Order of Rent-A-Zilla. The plot was found out and the bomb was disposed off. Upon defeating WolfDead and blowing up the M$ lab DarkTan joined ORAZ and took a position as Head Cook once the Cathedral and Snack Bar was built.
Somewhere he met and fell in love with Asuka, a Rei clone from the United Fangirls of Largo-sama Hospital who absorbed the personality of Asuka from an Eva dating sim on Newgrounds.com. DarkTan bought her a gun and they were set for life.
After the United Sadisticks final attack, in which DarkTan was again manipulated into working for the enemy he disappeared only to reappear with a new sword and a book. He had learned of his true heritage as the Last Heir of Astaroth von Sudden. He bore a copy of the book of von Sudden, the Unasaucesprechen von Kohen, the Unspeakable Cooks. He spent some time with the KFH before returning to ORAZ, where he found Erden in charge and Asimov gone. Certain events transpired setting Erden and DarkTan's near-hatred for each other in stone and amplifying it. DarkTan soon withdrew his member ship from ORAZ, KFH and Tech Supporters of Matako-Rin, even though they really weren't any real power at the time.
He was soon hunted by the League of Extraordinary Cooks, a group of man who lived to end the "threat" of the books of von Sudden and his decedents. At this time DarkTan founded his own faction, Factionless. It was for those who did not have the dedication to join on of the other factions. It also marked the second time, Erden's Edgewood Defense Technologies was the first. Mariko also turned up, looking for DarkTan's help.
Shortly after Luther nuked the KFH, DarkTan and Mariko both left MT, seperately, on hints that led to the LXC. They eventually wound up fighting together. DT and Mariko finally returned to MT over a year and half after leaving, the threat of the LXC eliminated. Upon his return he found Asuka as well as many of the employees of the UFL had left.
Shortly after his return DarkTan was in and out of the country. Several people were sent to hunt down and kill DarkTan. He eventually traced the bounty hunters to a group dedicated to keeping the swords of von Sudden hidden. DarkTan fought and killed many of their agents but never made it to them or found out where they were. He returned to MegaToyko in hopes of avoiding them for a while.
