Abilities
Weapons Training: Awards include the Expert Pistol Shot with 'S' device for Sharpshooter and the Expert Rifle Shot with 'M' device for Marksman. He has recieved the Battle 'E' for pistols.
Qualified for a wide variety of NATO and East Bloc ordnance, his only shortcoming is sniping. His sidearm of choice is the old school Springfield Armory M-1911A1 forty-five caliber pistol. It has replaced the Mk 23 in his inventory. He retains the M-29 .44 Magnum revolver. Rifles of choice are the Automat Kalashnikov Model of 1947( AK-47) and the FN/H Mk 17 Special Operations Combat Assault Rifle-Heavy( SCAR-H), both being chambered for a 7.62 type round. He also retains the P-90 for use against armored targets like SWAT officers and cyborgs.
Hand to Hand: More of a brawler than an actual fighter, Eikeichi prefers using his environment as a weapon. It may seem dirty but then again improvisation can make all the difference.
Armored Fighting Vehicle Operator: Qualified as a tank and Armored Vehicle driver while with the SDI. WARNING: Do not allow to operate any vehicle, wheeled or mobile tread, exceeding half a ton.
Spliced and Dissected: During a recent assignment to the SDI, Eikeichi was put under the microscope and completely sliced open, examined, altered, and improved. This was mostly to make Human/CABAL interfaces work that much more smoothly. An unexpected side effect is a drastic increase in resillience and a faster healing process. In tests and when violent tendencies had to be supressed by lethal force it has been noted that most pistol cartridges have little effect. Forty-four Magnum, forty-five ACP, and fifty caliber Action Express are the desired rounds when engaging him. He's also been given the remaining rounds of nano-machine injections that he was originally scheduled for. He is now able to fully synch up with his Lancer, sharing the same operational awareness when in cockpit. An unexpected side effect is that he also has a permament HUD in his vision. He's taken to thinking of it as like being in Armored Core.
Lancer Pilot: An expert pilot, Eikeichi is qualified for the LM-19A1 Acrocanthosaurus, the LM-223A1 T-Rex, and the experimental and extremely dangerous YLM-27 Dilophosaurus. The Dilophosaurus can be considered his personal machine as he is the only pilot who has survived it's attempts to kill him.
Menace to Other Drivers: As it has been mentioned time and time again, Eikeichi is a terrible driver...
Let me rephrase that for you...
HE PUTS YUKARI TANAZAKI'S TERRIBLE DRIVING TO SHAME!!!
It's not that he doesn't follow the rules of the road, it's just that his impulsive nature prohibits him from getting from point A to point B without getting involved in what's best described as a demolition derby. For that reason, his drivers license has been suspended SEVEN times in the Great State of Texas.
Captain Jenks Wylder, his squad leader, has a restraining order on Eikeichi for his 1956 Wilys Jeep. He has to remain more than 50 feet from the car.
Despite his inability, or rather his ability to turn any stretch of road into a 'Highway of Death', the US Government trusts him with a multibillion dollar walking weapons platform.
History/Status
Originally of the US Army's 82ND Airborne, this particular Army Ranger became a Lancer pilot at the first chance. He was scouted out for the First Cavalry during his training and went on to lead his own squad. That didn't end very well for the young squad lead. His team was wiped out to a man by a necromancer during an incident in El Paso, Texas. Distraught, he considered taking his own life but was stopped thanks to the support of his own squad lead and the rest of the team.
Two years later, Eikeichi found himself pulling Lancer tests for the SDI's Research and Development Corps. A temporary member of the Strategic Defense Forces, Eikeichi pushed new Lancers to their limits and was almost killed by a protoype unit, not because of something he did, but because of a flaw in the machine's AI. This unit was given a new CABAL, made up of two other CABAL Eikeichi had trained, and was found to be more controllable under that manner. Said machine became Eikeichi's personal unit.
Returned to the III Corps, Eikeichi found his time to be rather uneventful but signed up for another eight years in the Army. Even as an officer he figured he'd see how far up the ladder he could get before being busted down for something he may do. His reputation, however, got him noticed by another organization, this time the World Cataclysm Division.
Given a commission to provide close in gunfire support for a special operations team, Eikeichi was relocated to Tokyo to take part in what could be likened to Hitler's elimination of the SA via the SS. Under Anthony Kane's command, Eikeichi preformed his duties to a T, minimizing the unit's casualties. Under Kane's command, the Lieutenant was still found to be something of an insubordinating subordinate, often doing his own thing as opposed to what the chain of command wanted. His only saving grace was that he generated positive results, albeit with a few grievances from the locals...
Recently Eikeichi has been put back with the SDI for further testing, however he will be going back to his original unit to participate in their role as an Aggressor Squadron. His reintegration to the III Corps was the decision of Dr. Robert Burke.
Nature
The genetic alteration as well as his time in solitary confinement with only Archetype as company has changed him somewhat. He's not as amiable as he once was, having shown suicidal/homocidal tendencies while under the SDI's care. He still hates anything with tentacles, though...
Appearance
5'11", slim athletic build. Genetic alteration and nano enhancements have affected his appearance. He appears younger than he actually is. His eyes have also change color, the irises being red as opposed to brown. Why this has happened is any one's guess.
His attire has changed considerably. Gone are the desert and woodlands pattern BDUs. In their place are the digital pattern ACUs. He still retains the PASGT helmet and the grey ARMY t-shirt. Added to his attire is a pair of Oakley shades.
