| Introduced: | CoM: New Blood 1-6, A New Confusion in MegaTokyo |
Basic gist: Returned dead(not undead) punker. Smoker. Magic-user. Was originally written way too powerful, but the current iteration(born 6/22/05 or thereabouts) is much weaker.
Real name: Erik Forsythe.
Physical Description: 5'10", straight black hair usually gelled and spiked up, but occasionally let down; when it's let down, falls to about earlobe level. Nondescript goatee. Pale skin typical of a punker/raver. Fairly well-muscled build. Has an eyebrow piercing (right eyebrow), and a 1-gauge piercing in each ear. The tattoos on his hands seem to have disappeared, and he's taken most of his ear piercings out.
Characterization: Loud, brash, selfish, and angry sum it up pretty well. Despite his anger, though, he tends to accept events at face value; this is actually the reason he garnered the nickname "Fish," for gliding through life like a fish through water. Has a tendency to act before thinking; despite how it sounds, this is usually a good thing, as his plans tend to be ridiculous at best(see: plan to kill Pestilence and Famine). His brashness seems to operate on levels; although, from an external standpoint it seems he's just always being a dick, with certain people his brashness is to hide insecurity, or to have fun, or to flirt.
It's just that nobody seems to notice.

Ash seems to think Fish tastes best with chocolate sauce.
Resources/Abilities/Powers (current version):
-Pure Magic - Fish instinctively understands magic in its most simple form, as the use of energy to manipulate the current state of reality -- specifically at the atomic level. For whatever reason, he has trouble -- if he's able to at all -- with using magic on other sentient beings, but he's shown a large variety of abilities otherwise. Most spells require on a much larger store of energy than specialized schools of magic, so it's not _entirely_ broken.
-Energy Storage - He can store energy in himself for use later. The level is signified by the intensity with which the pupils on his hand tattoos glow. In conjunction with this, once he's prepared a spell, as long as he has the energy, he can use it whenever he wants.
-Energy Absorption - If he's focusing, he can absorb an electrical or magical blast into his palms. This is very hard to do and can easily backfire, hurting him instead.
-Forseti's Sword - a magical sword given to him in combatting darkness. Summoned from his Harley Davidson zippo. There are two forms; the first actually uses lighter fluid, creating a flaming one-handed broadsword with a metal handle, lasting only ten minutes. The second is a broad scimitar with a damascus-style pattern(that is, imperfections in the steel that create the impression of iridescent waves and eddies). The damascus sword is magical and is especially powerful on demonic entities.
-Technophobic karma - If it's made with technology and he has control of it, it _will_ break, regardless of the actual probability of it breaking. Period.
Current Location: EM.
History to Date: It all began one stormy night in MegaTokyo -- Church of Miho: New Blood #1, in fact. He appeared pretty much out of nowhere with no real specific reason or purpose, other than to hang out with "the guys" -- that would be Cryshalo and Thale at the time. Through several self-serving monologues, it is revealed that he was dead, but brought back for some purpose. The reasoning behind his gravitation towards the church was, at the time, what seemed to be a simple crush on the head, Miho.
After Blizzard's attack on the Church, he went nuts, blew something up, nearly died. This pattern would repeat itself frequently.
While watching Edenclaw verbally assault his opponent, Gideon, more memories surged, revealing Gideon to be under the thumb of Loki, the Trickster God. This brought back more memories; apparently, Fish was Einherjar, chosen for saving (what is implied to be but could possibly not be) Miho from some cult attack, resulting in his death. In that battle, he used the power of some mysterious gloves, and because of this, Valkyrie thought that Fish would be more useful staying on earth until Ragnarok.
Of course, Loki wanted Ragnarok.
The end-game event started; both Ragnarok and the Good Omens version of End Times started. Fish, for his part, partially slayed the Frost Giant with his flame sword; he was beaten up. Some time afterwards, he met up with Natsumi Kuroki, a member of the Himitsu Desu Police Force. He and She kept on running into each other, so much so that he started to develop a crush on her.
When he was forced to confront Fenrir, he was given Forseti's Blade, a damascus katana. He injured the beast, but was nearly killed. Tohya, a mage, gave him healing cigarettes, which saved his poor life (I told you he got beat up a lot, didn't I?). He proceeded to get involved with a plot to kill two of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse. A really stupid plan that actually almost worked.
Of course, he got beat up along the way. Eventually he managed to take down Pestilence.
There was some stuff about time traveling to kill death, but he was only involved peripherally.
As far as the CoM:NB plot goes, it turned out that this was all a simulation.
At this point, Fish started to fade out of the main picture. He was tugged around this way and that, an evil version of him was made(along with everyone else ever); Natsumi Kuroki, a Himitsu Desu police agent, managed to find her way to Fish to rescue him from the apocalypse just before he fell into plot limbo. It's clear that, at least on a basic level, they had crushes on each other; unfortunately, neither of them had the opportunity to develop that.
He escaped plot limbo long enough to tell people he was gone, right at the climax of the battle with WolfDead, and then disappeared again.
Jump forward several storylines... a new Fish has emerged from the mists of Megatokyo, utterly confused. Currently, he's trying to figure out where he is, when he is, and why he's there and then.
He has since been put under the charge of a young girl, injured after a freak accident during the Edgewood Defense Technology attack on the KFH, and then modified using hidden Bioware technology and techniques. This girl was named, amusingly enough, Natsumi, by Fish.
The details of his coming-of-power and why he's in MT are detailed Here.
OOCly, yes, I do intend to branch off the three into their own characters, and I intend to bring back old villains and times, as since it's all done in flashback it all has to mesh into what's already happened, but I have some ideas... oh, some good ideas.
Updates will come as is necessary.
