Basic Gist: computer guy dressed like he belongs in film noir, and sometimes a smart ass.
Real Name: Ishimaru Taiki is his real name, though he sometimes goes by simply "Caj" (rhyming with badge) because it
is his nickname from childhood.
Physical Description: Caj is 22, and roughly 6'0" tall and weighs 180 lbs. He usually keeps his brown hair cut short to not get in his eyes. He always wears sneakers along with khaki dockers and a sports coat, looking quite out of place in a fight, he also wears a brown fedora along with his sports coat. Though most often he will keep a geeky shirt on under his sports coat. He always wears glasses over his dark blue eyes even though they are only for reading.
Characterization: Caj can act like an archetypal stoic character. He will sometimes try to act much cooler than he really is while keeping a peaceful air around him. He will usually try to think his way out before acting and can always be heard spouting smart ass phrases is a foreign situation. In normal situations though, he can be found spouting philosophical jokes or listening to classical music.
Back story: Caj was adopted by an American family as a child which is why he is able to speak english but has a Japanese name. Caj came to MegaTokyo after graduating high school in the hopes of finding a job or a means to get into college. Caj was strongly impacted by the death of his best friend, Jonathon, six years ago. At a Halloween party, Jonathon slipped a noose around his neck as a joke but was then strangled to death as he tripped and fell out of his chair. After losing his best friend, he became more vagrant and began spending more time with computers causing him to become extremely studious and also mischievous, he also did not feel like celebrating Halloween anymore. He became involved in the strangeness after having to defend himself against a horde of undead overlooked by the cataclysm police division. After defending himself he had a mixed feeling of anger and curiosity, and he noticed that there had to be more to the town than just the police keeping everyone safe. Caj greatly looks up to Largo and sees him as a strong steadfast person. Giving very little regard to the other idols in the city, he began devising a way to find and join his group of followers.
Abilities: After taking classes such as Oracle and Networking, Caj became a whiz in the Information Science field of computers. After spending time with his father, a policeman, he became quite skillful with handguns after going to the shooting range with his dad. he also became a good driver after taking a summer course over defensive and aggressive driving. Though he is a horrible liar, and socializer. he is also terrible at making up his mind and has to think, and possibly over analyze, options before making a choice. He is fluent in English and also in 1337. He became fluent in 1337 after first seeing it used online, he then quickly picked up the language and became fluent through usage on the internet. He has also taken three years of Japanese in college before coming to MegaTokyo.
