Position: Commander of the Erika Multinational Rangers
Joshua Keller first appeared in the city as a mercenary by the name of Lukkai. After meeting Charles Fox by chance and working with him on a job, he accepted a position in a new founded undercover unit, the Erika Multinational Rangers. After the former vice commander's death in the zombie children event, marking Tallic's first appearance, he took up the vacant position.
Some time later, he learned that there actually was no manhunt on him. This encouraged him to take on his original identity again. When the Rangers became a full department of Erika Multinational, Joshua took up the position of commander of the unit.
Joshua is in love with co-Ranger Amy Sato.

History
Joshua was born into a wealthy family at Zug. His parents died in a car crash when he was 12 and his older brother became his legal guardian. He grew up to be very sporting and consequently went to the university of Zurich to study sports. He joined the Linux User Group Switzerland at age of 14, a group consisting of people, prefering Linux or free software in general over other software sources (especially Microsoft). He completed his mandatory military service in one year and afterwards joined the military arm of the LUGS, the LUGS partisans. In late 2003, a quarrel between Microsoft Europe and the LUGS escalated into a short war, the Microsoft troops first pushing the partisans more and more back, then coming to a halt as they reached the more mountainous areas, where the guerilla tactics of the partisans proved very efficient. At this critical point, the post where Joshua served as radioman was overrun. He however managed to not only get the radio erased and destroyed, but also escape the attack. It was at this point, that his powers as ki-shaman awoke and over the next three weeks, he attacked and annihilated troops up to whole platoons on 10 occasions. The M$-troops started to call the unknown enemy 'Geisterwolf'. Their only clue being a pair of yellow eyes that the few survivors talked of and a set of fingerprints. Together with the ongoing guerilla attacks and the news of Linux groups of other countries entering the fight demoralised the troops and forced them to retreat. When he finally returned to friendly lines, he was decorated for having survived three weeks behind enemy lines.
After the war, though they had the order not to go after LUGS personnel for a while, an exec decided he had unfinished business with Geisterwolf and sent a group of four 'Men in Blue' (M$ agents) to find out it's identity and kill him. The group barged in at the Keller residence in Zug, Markus Keller being the subcommander of the region, Geisterwolf had appeared in. They found him, two other LUGS partisans (Peter Terz and Werner Benz) as well as a civilian (Sonja Pitocco, Joshua's fianc�e) preparing for a grill party. They tried to get the info from them, lethally wounding Sonja in the process, what finally started a shootout in which the three partisans and two of the operatives were killed. Joshua, having arrived in the meantime, had slipped into the backyard, where Sonja was lying. She died after a last goodbye and Joshua went berserk (Wolf giving him a lot of power to rage). He jumped at the last two operatives and practically ripped them apart. Coming to his senses again, he packed some stuff and money, took the operatives' car and drove to a neighbouring city, ignoring all speeding limits to get an alibi (He didn't own a car himself and his brother's car was still at the house. There was no way he could have gotten there by public transport so fast). On the same day, he left for Italy. He shot a competing gangster boss for a group of organized crime at Naples, getting a good faked false identity in return and took on the life of Lukkai, after letting Joshua 'vanish' in Istanbul.
Arriving in Megatokyo about 3 months after the attack, he met and then worked for Charles Fox from Erika Multinational. It was at this time and partly influenced by Joshua, that Fox came up with the idea of an undercover unit, gathering information for EM and sometimes tipping things into a direction that was favourable to the company. Joshua, in need of a job, joined up with the unit on invitation of Fox. His abilities both on the job as well as in commanding quickly made him first vice commander (after the first one was killed by zombies). And as the former commander rose to be head of the new Rangers' department, he became commander.
Joshua and Amy Sato first met when he spent a night in the Errant Knights' barracks after his job for Fox. They instantly felt attracted to each other and this continued when they both were assigned to the Rangers. She also was the only one not to be fooled by his ability to vanish in open sight. They spent a night together after a relatively rough day for the Rangers, but later Joshua pushed her away, fearing that if someone was still after him, she would be caught in the crossfire as was his fianc�e. Only after he learned that the M$-directive still was to leave him be, he finally let her closer and told her of his true identity. He later told the others as well and took his original name again.
