Kisuzu Takemaki is not your average 19 year old girl. For starters, she is part dog. Thats the first thing everybody notices. When people finally stop staring at her tail and ears, they find her to be a reserved, calm person.
She grew up in Oyokomi Village, a village of dog people like herself, which is located deep in the remaining forests of Japan. There she hails from a long line of powerful family, and it explains her current families near ownership of the village. Two weeks ago she left the village to go and search for her sister. She has just now arrived in MegaTokyo, dazed, confused, and searching for something without a map.
Shes going to need some help

Physical Description
Kisuzus hair is naturally a smoky white, and is quite possibly the longest hair you will ever see. She keeps most of it tied back in a giant ponytail. If she didnt it would drag across the ground. The fur on her ears and tail also happens to be white, so sometimes if she arranges her hair correctly, the ears blend in for the most part, and she can hide her tail amongst the flowing mass. She does not remember the last time she got it cut. Her eyes are amber in color, with no other distinctive features, other than the fact she can see better in the dark than you. As a native born Japanese girlshe looks like a typical Japanese girl Except for the dog bits. She stands 5'2" and weighs around 120 pounds.
Kisuzu is probably more built up than other girls her age, but not substantially so. She does however hide a lot of powerful muscle on her trim frame though.
She usually wears jeans coupled with tee-shirts, and always throws her olive jacket over top. Mostly she prefers black tight fit jeans and red shirts. The entire outfit featured in her picture was given to her on the day she left the village. Everyday she wears it, good fortune smiles upon her. She tries to exploit this whenever possible.
Personality
Usually reserved and keeping to herself, Kisuzu often goes about life not bothering others, or at least trying not too. There is always that day every few months that she just causes trouble for everyone
Very quickly does she become talkative to people if she feels they are nice. Although she is quiet and untalkative to strangers, it would be difficult to not be able to catch her at a time where she would at least handle some small talk. Perhaps except for either extremely aggressive and perverted people ((lol at Sareth turned up to 11)), and people with an air of superiority about them.
She has odd personality quirks that usually kick during the slightest hint of an awkward situation. Usually it is any and every time she receives a compliment. Simply calling her cute will cause her to fluster, her tail to start wagging profusely, and her ears to move in a way that just makes them so adorable you almost NEED to reach out and touch them.
During a combat situation...she would likely freeze up depending on the emotions she had before the danger. Usually if she was feeling sad or afraid she'll just freeze up, or make minimal defensive efforts. If she was angry or happy though, she will take a more offensive role in the defense, and push forward slightly.
She'll ask for help if she isn't afraid or nervous. Otherwise, it will be a whole lot of reluctancy to even talk. Otherwise, she is talkative and chatty.
Age
Yes this is getting its own section. Mainly because I would confuse many and myself to just throw it in somewhere else... ANYWHO
The Formula
Her age is something special. In the physical world, 19 years have passed since her birth. By human terms, she would 19. However, her species ages faster than humans, much like dogs, only slower than dogs. The basic formula, is that after 15 human years, the rate of aging is that of every 5 months is equivalent to one human year.
This is however only after the 15th human year. for the first two, it is 8 months for a year. 3rd and 4th years have seven months to a year. The pattern slows to about 6 months to a year from human year 5 to 11, before slowing down again to 7 months to a year during years 12 through 15. After 15 though, the rate suddenly accelerates to 5 months to a year. This rate remains unchanged for the rest of the Dog Person's life span.
Kisuzu's Age
In human years, Kisuzu is 19. Meaning, she has been alive for 19 human birthdays.
In 'Dog Person Years', the magical measurement I made up, Kisuzu is...
34. She will be 35 in two months.
Resources/Abilities/Powers
Wired Reflexes
With her sword drawn, and limited supply of adrenaline pumping, she can almost see bullets traveling through the air. She reacts by blocking them with her sword. This is handy for either small bullets, bullets that need to go a long distance from the gun to her, or singular bullets.
Absolutely worthless against any sort of sustained fire, ranges less than 40ft, and anything over a 35 caliber bullet. She is however capable of blocking larger sniper rifle rounds if...
1. She knows where the bullet is coming from
2. She is already relatively ready ((sword up, proper stance, etc.))
3. and only if she has enough time to get her sword up in position. Less than a kilometer is pushing it. Less than 900m is out of the question, she will miss the bullet.
All in all, the technique is fairly limited to blocking pistols, snipers who are as far away as possible, and idiots who forget to put their fire selector switch on automatic.
Ancestral Guardian
As part of a long running line of very important people to her species, her form has been blessed with a guardian. The ancestral guardian only reveals itself in mortal danger, even then, only unless it is absolutely sure it needs to reveal itself will it do so. When it does however, whatever is threatening Kisuzu's life is in for a world of hurt.
Kisuzu's Ancestral Guardian takes the form of a two-headed dog, and is usually made of thick smoke where it emerges, rapidly changing to a solid, physical form near just behind the front 'legs'. The Ancestral Guardian is featured in the image at the top of this page.
Kisuzu has only heard legends of the Ancestral Guardian, and thus has not seen her own. It does exist though, and watches over Kisuzu everyday. It only has only one ability, but it only needs one. The Ancestral Guardian's power is Death Stop. Being that, any singular, preventable cause of Death may be thwarted by the Ancestral Guardian. However, it is fairly easy to counter. More than one cause of death will work around the Guardian, as it can only cancel one cause. Therefore, a singular person who would run her through with a sword would be thwarted, yet a pair could easily work around the Guardian, one being canceled out, the other accomplishing the kill.
As another possibly fatal flaw, the Guardian does not protect against supersonic projectiles, or holy objects. Therefore, a bullet will pass through the guardian, as would a blessed sword.
In short, the ancestral Guardian worked well against the bandits of long ago, but today, too many ways to defeat it exist, and it will only reveal itself if it feels it can save her.|
Inabilities/Weaknesses
Kindness
She is embarrassed/flustered very easily, and this usually ends up with her causing her own spiral downwards towards total social asplosion. Any sort of sweet talk could get you miles with her. It really isn't all that hard to get her to warm up to you if you play your cards right.
She is usally nervous around strangers, but less so if she is with someone she knows, or someone who she knows that knows the stranger. She is very easy to talk to, the only critical thing to watch is the firts 30 seconds. Kisuzu usually judges people in the first 30 seconds of meeting. If they help her out, make her feel comfortable, or are just overall nice, she will warm up to them, get chatty, and loosen up quickly. If the person talking to her, however, is scary, mean, or perverted towards her, she generally just tries to get away from them. After the initial encounter, it can be quite difficult for Kisuzu to trust someone who came off as 'bad', but it is relatively easy for Kisuzu to lose trust. She is easily fooled though, so just keep up a nice guy act, and she will likely bounce along with it.
Bright Light, Loud Noises
A flash bang will completely and 100% disable her, and for a longer period than a human. Her eyes being slightly more light sensitive, her ears super sensitive, and her nose a bit more able, are all rendered very useless after a flash bang. First of all, she goes deaf immediately right after it goes off. No question that it will remove her hearing, and it will do so for about half an hour. If she happens to be looking a it, her light sensitive eyes will react to the light in the same was a human would, but it will last longer. Approx. 5 minutes longer. Then there's her sense of smell. Although it isn't completely disabled, the scent of the accellerant and explosive used in the flash bang, along with the smoke caused by it's going off, will mask most of a scent for about 30 seconds. Of course, it doesn't really help her to be able to smell if she can't see or hear.
In short, Sudden blinding lights, very loud noises, and strong smells are things that could be exploited as a weakness.
Chocolate
As another weakness, being part dog lends itself to certain health issues. Namely, the consumption of chocolate. Now, like all dogs, Kisuzu will go nuts for chocolate, much like people love sugar. Dogs cant eat large amounts of it due to a chemical called TheoBromine. Basically, TheoBromine is a chemical used by the cocoa plant. Thus it appears in chocolate via the cocoa bean from the cocoa plant being used in production. Dogs can't tolerate large amounts of this, and could have heart attacks if they eat too much. Although, like a dog, if the chocolate is TheoBromine free, you could make Kisuzu very, very, VERY happy.
So, Regular chocolate = tasty and good, but lethal in large amounts. TheoBromine free Chocolate = tasty and awesome and maker of you Kisuzu's new best friend.
Areas of Knowledge
She knows three things. The way of the sword, intermediate cooking, and being ridiculously cute, even though that's a given.
She trained with her father to be a swords woman, and has developed moderately as a fighter. She's no samurai, be she'd beat a random thug hands down. Anyone with about 5 or more years of training though is a challenge for her. She isn't that good.
She can also cook for herself. Or at least she used to in the village. She learned to use an open fire though, so getting adjusted to a stove may take her awhile. Not so much if it's a gas burner though. She could make a variety of meat based dishes, some vegetable sides, her own special secret stew, and a mystical dessert which she rarely even allows people to see. Never mind its ingredients and creation process.
The cuteness has always come natural to her. Being part dog, now in a city of humans no less, has always had a mystical +100 cute sort of effect for her. Even though it does cause people to take her just a bit less seriously, what with the ears and tail and all, she does find ways to make people take her seriously.
She is an expert at making people change opinions to agree with hers. Especially men. All it takes is drooping ears, a quivering lip, clasped hands, and the LARGEST sad-puppy-dog eyes you've ever seen. Nearly no man can resist. This fabled technique was part of what got her father to let her search.
Known Back story (before her appearance in-game)
Kisuzu comes from a long line of powerful people in her home village, Oyokomi Village. Her family practically owns the entire village, so she can get what she wants, as well as is very rich. But it seems that none of this has gotten to her, as she remains caring and kind, even after being around so much money for so long.
Her life changed 8 months ago, when her village was attacked. They came from everywhere, and left nearly nothing standing. Strangely enough, nobody was killed. It was a surprisingly well organized attack. Kisuzu was attending a temple during the attack, and in her fleeing, a large symbolic temple gate collapsed on her. It immediately broke both her legs, one of her arms, cracked a few ribs, and nearly severed her tail. For six months after she recovered, and after that she took about a month and a half of physical training to get back up to the level she was before the attack.
During the time of her recovering, she learned that no one had died, and there was only large amounts of property damage. She also learned, that her sister had been taken in the confusion. Taken by vampires... she also found out. It was all she needed to become determined to go search for her sister. Wherever she was, or where her corpse may lay, she would find it, if only to give her a proper funeral and burial. She left the village with some instruction her father gave her, but those quickly turned useless as soon as she got off the train... What happens next...nobody knows...yet.

Kisuzu's Room
Nonelol
((IRC Sareth keeps wanting her to move in to his room under the title of 'pet'. Whether or not this will fly with the rest of the PC's, or even be used all together is still up in the air. Good chance of it happening though!))
