The LDG was formed after the fall of the Church of Miho, the long-standing Mihoist faction. Most of its members are characters that had strong ties to the Church in some fashion - its current leader, Mahou, had worked there for a time, for example. Since the Church buildings itself were gone, the LDG makes its home (so to speak) in a almost-Victorian style manor.
The LDG was started by a Pingite (the character of Sabyr).
Currently it is led by Mahou, who professes to be both Piroist and Mihoist.
Current members seem to be:
- Shiri'janta, the 'honorable shadow'
- Dao, the EDS (out of commission)
- Allanon, the healer
- Aneko, Shiri's older sister
- Lenore, the artist of the bunch
- Hikaru, just another dark bishounen. (Recently left the city.)
- Sayuri, the runaway kuro miko and onmyouji
- Saeko, Dark Magical Girl, Empathy Knight, and problem child.
- Pavel Ivanavich Novikov, resident Gunpowder Mage
People who seem to be sympathetic to the faction:
- Aidan, a soul collector/psychopomp (type of shinigami)
- Bliss, Piroist and Reality Mage
- Fish, brash old-school Mihoist
- Natsumi, girl who likes shiny things like guns
- Will Vavrek, old-time Mihoist
Inactive members are not listed here.
Location
An old semi-sentient and definitely creepy mansion.
Relations with other factions:
The Legion has declared no faction as an enemy, though the Largoists harbor traditional suspicion towards Mihoists.
Character-relationships with particular factions seem to dominate here, as the Legion has no enemies - they're on decent terms with nearly all factions. Particular factions of note, though:
- Kit of Erika Multinational does business with Mahou and the Legion, but a past incident keeps things from being buddy-buddy between them - Kit wouldn't likely do Mahou any favors without getting anything out of it herself.
- Alexander Mackay of the Kimiko Army - Mahou and Mackay are on good terms - though the precise reason for this is unknown, it's accepted that they know each other at least through reputation. (They've been around in Megatokyo for some of the same experiences, they know how things used to work and the lore of the past, to a degree.) The fact that an Aspect/Avatar of Piro, Piroko, is in the KA doesn't hurt either.
- Ash is friends or family with several legion members.
- Saeko habitually antagonizes the Largoists, although she mostly exempts Ash.
