Nanashi

An example of a RP sockpuppet character, usually found in Rise of the Dark Goddess. A stir was caused within that thread at the mere thought of Miho's Endgames avatar played as a character - some found it amusing and interesting, others found it a breach of how the game was "supposed" to be played (Main Characters typically do not have any knowledge of events in the gameworld of Megatokyo: the Clans).

Nanashi hasn't been heard from in quite awhile now, and the mystery of just who is behind the posts is still unsolved.

Nanashi means "without a name" or "nameless" - a reference to Miho's Endgames avatar, who is still without an official name. (The fans usually end up calling the avatar Niho.) Some forumites who remember Nanashi say that "Nanashi" is a better-sounding name, but the tradition of using "Niho" holds.
