OOC Monsters

Originally the term "OOC Monster" was derived from "...a monster OOC post", with OOC meaning Out of Character. The term now currently has two senses: the first denoting a silly Out of Character commentary (which is warm and fuzzy and generally poking at The Fourth Wall), and the second being a more pejorative sense, like "Dammit, why'd you have to derail the thread with such a massive OOC Monster???".

The best authority for OOC monsters can be found on The OOC Monster's Web Page. The fanfic story: Day of the OOC Monster is also maintainted there. Bozocat maintains these pages - feel free to comment on the story or the definitions page, or post corrections here.

The OOC Monster makes random out of character comments in many threads. He may be developing a larger role soon. Kekeke.
