RC Control System Beta

RC control System Beta is a prototype bidirectional I/O interface designed to allow one to remote control equipped vehicles and their built-in weapons systems. This displays the output of cameras, audio equipment, and sensors on a large computer screen along with an optional HUD; with gas, temperature, speed, estimated damage levels, and ammo count. Multiple screens are often used, and it supports LCD glasses technologies. Keyboard control is possible, but other joystick or even gamepad control is often preferred in Toshiro's case.

Bidirectional transmission for these vehicles is usually restricted to between 154.7 and 156.7 MHz FM, though it can truthfully be any range Toshiro has secured for his personal use. Each vehicle has its own encryption codes which are used. This is so that if someone should somehow manage to get control of one vehicle, however unlikely that is, they will not have the codes for the rest.

The computer system used by the vehicle for this data is typically a LARDOWS configuration with custom tarball files loaded which contain the applications and drivers needed to use the interface and weapons. Some capable units are loaded with Shatter I-specific software.

it is also possible for NX-series Nezumi to get into these vehicles and control them, as well as their weapons systems.
